It is equipped with a 72V 40Ah battery that provides a range of up to 120 km. With a total weight of only 76 kg, this bike offers an agile and comfortable ride. Its exceptional features include 220 mm 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes at the front and rear, an intuitive TFT display and an adjustable fork with 200 mm of travel, specially designed for demanding terrain. The efficient and quiet motor offers a smooth riding experience with ECO, SPORT and HYPER modes.

- 13.5 kW IPM motor with improved stator/rotor and revised air cooling, 95% efficiency
- Reliable stopping power. The front and rear calipers and discs have been upgraded with oversized 220 x 3.0 mm discs. Approximately 20% more braking power and improved heat dissipation. The larger calipers provide exceptional braking force, even at high speeds. Significantly greater stopping power, smoother braking, longer service life, and increased braking reliability.
- On-demand variable regenerative braking. 4 selectable regeneration levels. New thumb-operated lever allows for smooth and intuitive regeneration adjustment. This lever functions like a brake lever and allows you to control the desired regeneration level in real time. The harder you press, the more regenerative braking is activated, without the risk of disc overheating. This feature not only improves efficiency and range, but also helps protect your mechanical braking system.
- It features an advanced IPM (Interior Permanent Magnet) motor with larger, more powerful magnets and an improved cooling system for increased performance. This upgrade results in increased efficiency, better heat dissipation, and, most importantly, significantly improved reliability compared to previous models. Common issues with previous models, such as loosening or demagnetizing magnets and dislodging Hall sensors, have been addressed. In addition, this motor incorporates a magnetic encoder, completely eliminating the need for Hall sensors.
- If you opt for a more powerful controller, this motor is designed to handle much higher power levels than its predecessor. Thanks to its increased efficiency, it not only delivers more power, but also operates at higher revs, providing a smoother and more robust power curve. With an efficiency of 95%, this is the most efficient Talaria motor to date, delivering both increased power and increased range, making the MX5 an even more capable compact electric vehicle.
- For the first time on a Talaria electric motorcycle, the system voltage has been increased from 60V to 72V, providing improved torque, higher speeds and better motor cooling.
- The MX5 is powered by a 40 Ah, 72 V (2,880 Wh) battery made of high-performance Samsung 50s 21700 (5,000 mAh) cells, designed to meet the high energy demands of this motorcycle. Although its amp-hour capacity is lower than other motorcycles on the market, the 72 V system ensures an impressive 2,880 Wh capacity, making it the largest battery available in its class. - The MX5 is equipped with Talaria Factory suspension specifically designed for this model. To accommodate the increased power and weight, the suspension system has been improved. The rear shock absorber now features a stiffer, progressive spring rate ranging from 250 to 390 kg/cm, with adjustable compression and rebound damping settings for enhanced performance. The air-adjustable front fork incorporates an internal dual-spring system, offering compression, rebound, and preload adjustments for optimal ride comfort.
- The Talaria MX5 features a new, more robust gearbox with reinforced mounts and improved sprockets for better gear ratios. This upgrade makes the MX5 quieter and significantly improves its reliability compared to the Surron, eliminating common issues like broken or slipping belts that can leave you stranded.
